“Best place to stay in Kaziranga”

The location and the place itself were amazing—you won’t want to leave. Walking a few minutes from the accommodation is relaxing, with lush greenery, beautiful tea plantations, rice paddies right outside, and friendly villagers. The hosts were incredible, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, and we enjoyed great chats every evening. The accommodation matched the description and had nice touches; staying in a building made of natural materials amid such gorgeous surroundings was a highlight. The Orchid Park was a short walk away and worth visiting; the host could book local tours and safaris directly, which eased the planning. Our driver and guide for the central zone safari were excellent. I’d love to return soon, do more safaris, and spend more time locally—it was one of the best experiences in North East India. Don’t miss the local cuisine on the menu at Bambusic Bliss; the homemade food was delicious, and we looked forward to it each day. The menu also described wildlife sightings on safari, another thoughtful touch. Overall, it’s the best place to stay in Kaziranga.

Staying in bamboo and adobe cabins among tea plantations gives a genuine village feel—very quiet and tranquil. The hosts are lovely, speak good English, and cook tasty home meals. They can arrange tuk‑tuk pickups from the bus, safaris, etc. The ensuite toilet and shower have hot water available from a bucket and an immersion heater if desired. All good.

The place was very well maintained. The couple running it cooked hot meals for us and were helpful and attentive. We had a wonderful stay and wish them all the best. Thank you!
