The spot is right on the beach, which made stepping out a breeze. The only hassle was finding a place to park – the lot fills up fast and you end up circling the block. Otherwise, a solid location if you don’t mind the parking scramble.

Great value for the price and the location can’t be beat, plus the host was super friendly and even had a cute dog that greeted us. The room itself needed a bit more attention – there was dust under the bed and the mirror still had streaks from a quick wipe. Still, a pleasant stay overall.

The welcome was warm and the charming little house is right near everything you’d need, so we’re keen to keep it as our own little hideaway. Dogs are allowed and the staff seemed to love them – I especially enjoyed the time with Violette, my dachshund. It felt just right for us.

Stay away – the host turned out to be unreliable and gave us zero privacy. We had confirmed a date change three times through chat, got the key, dropped our bags in the room and left, only to be told at 00:15 that we hadn’t booked and someone else was already in the room. The host barged in, tossed our luggage into a public garden, and left us out on the street to find another place at our own expense.
