Located in a quiet, car-free area of Zermatt, Hotel Capricorn boasts breathtaking Matterhorn views and complimentary in-room WiFi. Each room features a bathroom or shower, toilet, cable TV, and some offer a balcony. Guests can unwind in the sauna. The hotel is within a 5- to 10-minute walk of 3 cable cars and the village center, with the train station a 15-minute walk away.

The place had a cozy vibe that really hit the spot, and the staff were super approachable. The only downside was that the price felt steep, especially since we didn't get a room with a Matterhorn view.

The view was great and the location convenient, everything was clean and comfortable. I would have liked a wider selection of vegetables at breakfast, and the spa’s operating hours were too short to make use of it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, the spa wasn’t huge but it was just right, the bed was comfy, and the location was close to the river with a Matterhorn view. They even kept my luggage for two days while I was on the mountain. 100 % recommended!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay: the room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We booked a mountain‑view room and the scenery from our window was breathtaking—totally worth it! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast offered a good variety. All in all, we loved it and would gladly return.
