The rooms were surprisingly roomy – we actually booked two of them and both felt spacious. The location, however, left a bit to be desired; the place is fenced with electric wires that are supposed to make you feel safe, but I wasn’t entirely convinced.

Staff were genuinely helpful and the surroundings were dead quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. The only drawback was that the property sits a little off the main road, so getting there required a bit of extra travel.

The hotel looked clean and modern, which was a nice first impression. Unfortunately, it was hard to get to, didn’t serve any food, and when you add those missing basics the price just didn’t feel justified.

Breakfast was top‑notch and the staff went out of their way to let us drop off luggage early and arrange a taxi for dinner, the night out, and the airport the next morning – truly a gem in the bush. The only thing that could be improved is the pool temperature; a bit warmer would have been nice.

The room felt very modern and the whole place gave a sense of security, which we appreciated. The shuttle cost a bit extra – under £8 into town and double on the way back – so it added to the bill, but it was handy for getting supplies.
