Thoddoo Cozy Stay offers spacious rooms overlooking lush gardens, each with air‑conditioning, a private bathroom, and a dining nook. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, a coffee shop, laundry, TV, electric kettle, and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast ranges from continental to vegan, halal, and Asian. Located just a 9‑minute walk from Thoddoo Beach, staff speak English and Hindi.

The staff were attentive and helpful throughout my visit, making the experience enjoyable.

The hotel’s central spot near the northern playazas was a plus, and the breakfast offered a good variety. However, there’s no hook for hanging towels, swimsuits, etc., so the drying rack gets soaked when it rains.

The room itself was comfortable and well‑furnished. A downside was that payment had to be made in dollars, and using a card added a 4 % fee. Also, after leaving the beach it would be handy to have a water bucket nearby for rinsing before heading back to the room.

The location is spot‑on, tucked away from the usual tourist crowds and close to local eateries and shops. Ali and Hassan were very supportive in arranging our speedboat transfers and bike rentals around the area. The only drawback was that the toilet can become very humid, so an exhaust fan would be welcome.
