The phone check‑in was hassle‑free, and the villa felt just right for a hostel. For travelers and pilgrims like us, it was absolutely great.

It seemed like it could have been a wonderful property at one point, but everything feels worn out, broken, and dirty. The kitchen reeks, the fridge is full of fruit flies, the furniture is sticky and rotting, the mattresses are filthy, and my bed was missing a foot with a can underneath. No staff were on site, so I can’t recommend it at all. I’d rather get a refund and stay elsewhere, though you only reimburse up to 20 % after booking.

The old building is undeniably charming, but it needs a deep clean or renovation. The kitchen appliances haven’t been cleaned in ages, and the inner yard visible from the window is littered with trash (see photo). The bunk bed in my room feels more child‑oriented than adult‑friendly, with insufficient space between the levels to sit on the lower bed. Check‑in was anything but smooth; my friends and I waited about an hour at the doors before finally receiving our keys.
