Come gli ospiti valutano la struttura, aspetto per aspetto.

Warm welcome by all the staff, we felt like we were at home. They took care of every detail of our daily routine. The place is calm and you can relax just hearing the sound of nature. The estate is built respecting the nature and the delicate surroundings. Thanks to the manager, to our super guide and to all the service staff. We hope to come and see you again. Nothing.

“Ein weiterer Höhepunkt der 2500 km Rundreise!”

Everything was perfect: the room, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the drive, the view… We really enjoyed our stay there. What was remarkable: when credit‑card payment caused trouble, I was able to settle the outstanding amount after the holiday from Germany. That trust is “remarkable”!!!

“An experience of a lifetime.”

Our three nights at Makongo were unforgettable. From spotting amazing wildlife right on the front porch, to the sweeping reserve views from our hilltop location, the incredible game drives with our knowledgeable guide, and the personal care from lodge staff who worked hard to make our experience flawless, we couldn't have asked for more. We had to leave, though.

“Magical”

Picture breakfast on a deck overlooking hills and bush, giraffes grazing a few metres away and impalas sprinting across the lawn. An elephant visits just before bedtime, and warthogs and wildebeest greet you on the lawn as you drive up to reception. No fences anywhere. It sounds magical and perhaps made‑up, but it was absolutely real. That’s what we experienced at Makongo. Magical.

The experience was incredible and intimate. We felt like we were at home / in the hotel, it was just amazing. The team was adorable (never seen anything like it) and the included safaris plus meals… GENIAL! No negatives.
