“Très agréable séjour”
The location was nice, the staff at reception were friendly and smiling, the room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was decent but a bit pricey, and the French‑speaking channel was missing from TV. Hot chocolate wasn’t included with breakfast, which was a surprise, and the highway noise was very close.

The room offered a beautiful view of the golf course, was large with a king‑size bed and a good mattress, had a mini‑fridge and safe, toiletries, a flat‑screen TV, a desk and a lounge chair, and the lobby was nice. The receptionist was friendly and helped carry my suitcase up to the first floor. Parking was free and about 50 metres from the entrance. The hotel front desk was unmanned, but I was assisted in the bar. I didn’t receive any information about breakfast or dinner, and around midnight I woke up to the sound of what seemed to be tables being moved on the ground floor.
The spacious room and good breakfast were nice, and the scenery at the golf club and Castle Bossenstein was beautiful. The lack of air conditioning made it very hot to sleep during the height of summer.

The front desk staff were very friendly and worked long shifts, and the surroundings were nice thanks to the golf course. However, the management’s handling of the broken toilet in our room was awful, with terrible communication and no accommodation. A room change wasn’t possible even though the hotel was supposedly fully booked—though a room without a toilet shouldn’t be rentable at all! The refund or at least a price reduction for the night should have been automatic, yet it was denied even after complaint. The breakfast no longer meets current standards.
