It was perfect.
The hotel offers good value and a very attentive staff. My favorite part was the heated outdoor pool—water at the perfect temperature and a wonderfully relaxed vibe around the basin, ideal for recharging after touring the circus. Rooms are spacious and clean. The downside is the old construction gives the rooms a somewhat dated soundproofing, so they can be a bit noisy.

The welcome and the staff’s friendliness. The large heated pool and the location in Cilaos! The furniture is not very modern and the bedding is moderately comfortable. The isolation between rooms is not great.

The location, the size of the room, and the quality of the bedding were all great. However, the bathroom floor was wet as soon as we arrived. The overall atmosphere of the hotel, the lobby décor, and the 30‑minute jacuzzi session that cost 25 euros were disappointing, especially since the machine worked only half the time.
