A warm welcome, thoughtful details, and a wonderful breakfast on the terrace made staying there a real experience; the restaurant service was excellent, though the food was a bit ambitious and the château vibe would fit better with candles instead of bright lights.

We stopped here in historic walls, were greeted warmly, got early check‑in and could splash in the nearby lake for a cool swim. Dinner in the lovely courtyard of “Au Chateau” was tasty, and breakfast on the terrace was enchanting. The place was spotless, and we slept great in very comfortable Himmelbetten 😊 we were thrilled! Merci! The only downside was that the rest of the water in the castle moat didn’t smell very good.
