The hotel sits on a quiet main street and the parrot in the lobby was a nice touch. Unfortunately the renovation is still unfinished and the coffee machine is broken.

The host was extremely friendly and waited for me until I arrived, then guided me to the covered parking behind the building for my motorcycle.

The place was super cosy and comfortable, with amazing amenities that made both us and our dogs feel right at home; I can’t recommend it enough!

The only hiccup was finding a restaurant for dinner; an ice‑cold wind blew in, so after walking a bit we decided to head back to the accommodation. Everything else at Ouwerf was lovely.
