Camera sul Mare

Everything was clean and tidy, the room felt freshly renovated with modern, appealing furniture. There was a good mosquito screen door. The minibar with drinks was included in the rent. The host was very friendly and helpful. The garden was well maintained and had a small pool. The location was right on the sea. The mattress was too soft and had a hollow spot – it should be replaced. The front entrance wasn’t very clean.

“Fabulous host, great accommodation, beach on your doorstep.”

My trip didn’t start well at all, a 3‑hour delay amongst other things, but the host, Francesco, was amazing. He stayed up to welcome me, show me the ropes and make me feel at home. A great surprise was a complimentary mini bar and croissants etc for breakfast. The air conditioning worked like a charm, the bed was comfortable, the garden was huge, the dog was lovely and you’re literally on the beach through the garden gate. Francesco was always there to bail me out in what turned out to be a calamitous trip, someone hit my car (he sorted all the insurance documents), I broke the key trying to enter the wrong apartment block and he fixed it, just brilliant. If I return to Messina for work, I will definitely stay here again, best host ever.

“Relax ma con i comfort di casa tua”

The staff were welcoming and available for any information and clarification. Super clean, excellent view of the garden with pool, from which you can access the sea directly. The location is optimal for reaching every direction.

The sea view, the guarded parking, and the cleanliness were great, but the value for money was disappointing – the price felt too high for a single room, essentially paying for a 4‑star hotel without the accompanying services.

The owners were incredibly kind, the garden was spacious and well maintained, and there was direct access to the sea!
