The location is great.

The hotel is cheap and the terrace in front of a huge park is very pleasant. Our son lives in Eindhoven, and every time we go there we choose this hotel even though it’s about a 40‑minute walk from his home and about 25 minutes from the city centre. I might miss an elevator to lift luggage, but I think the building is listed and can’t be altered.

The room was very small for two people, which I didn’t notice when booking. Luckily it was only for one night.

The setting is peaceful. There is no elevator, and I had a recent double‑sided herniated disc. The terrace was already closed around 17.00, but we were hoping to enjoy the afternoon sun.
