“Great Location, Poor Wi-Fi”
The hotel's prime location was a major plus, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment options just around the corner. Unfortunately, the staff's friendly demeanor was somewhat undermined by their lack of follow-through on issues, like the non-functional Wi-Fi, which was a major letdown. The hotel itself was a bit old, but it was clean enough, even if it didn't exactly shine. Still, in today's digital age, being unable to get online was a significant drawback.
“Great Location, but Smoky Rooms”
I was really impressed with the hotel's location - it's close to public transportation, restaurants, bars, and shops. Unfortunately, I'm a non-smoker with allergies, and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It was especially bad when people in other rooms would smoke and the smell would seep into my room.
“Friendly Staff and Great Location”
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel - the room was clean, equipped with everything I needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is also great, just a short walk from the metro and train station. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff in the kitchen and at reception were always happy to help. My only minor complaints were that the shower was a bit awkwardly placed and there was a faint smell of smoke in the room when the air conditioning wasn't on.
“A Bed Bug Infestation from Hell”
I'm still trying to process the nightmare I had at this hotel. After just one night, I woke up covered in bed bug bites - I'm talking dozens of them. It's been weeks and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. I was in a state of panic, worried about bringing the infestation back home with me. The stress was unbearable, and I was terrified of sleeping in my own bed after checking into another hotel in Istanbul.
“Avoid This Hotel at All Costs”
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole experience at this hotel. The location isn't bad, but it's not exactly ideal either, especially considering the. let's call it 'entertainment' that goes on right outside the hotel doors. It's not exactly family-friendly, and the staff doesn't exactly help with that either. Every time you leave or enter the hotel, the same person asks you which room you're in, which gets old fast.
