Hotel Caraiman, in Sinaia, is 750 meters from the cable car to Cota 1400 Ski Area and a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The hotel features carpeted rooms with cable TV and private bathrooms, some with panoramic views of Dimitrie Ghica Park. A restaurant serves international cuisine, and a sunny terrace and free internet are available. Sinaia Monastery and Peleş Castle are nearby, with free parking provided.

I usually love this hotel for its location, architecture, interior design, cleanliness, and service, but when we booked a room with a balcony we were given one without because none were left. The front desk offered an apartment with a balcony, which was nice but seemed worn and not cleaned recently. The whole situation surprised us, especially since this place is one of our favorites in Sinaia.

The location and cleanliness are good, but the parking is a bit crowded.

I really liked the hotel; the staff are brave and helpful, the balcony view is superb, and being in the center means you can easily reach all the sights and restaurants—highly recommend it.
