The accommodation sits in a good spot, and while the drive up was somewhat interesting, it didn’t bother us, and the view was truly nice. The surroundings were calm. Inside, the air conditioner worked well and the kitchen tools were fine. One day, the person I was in contact with, Masa, sent a message at 15.00 saying he would come to show the apartment at 17.00 and that others would visit, but because we were swimming in the sea we didn’t see the message until 17.00. He then entered, packed our personal belongings in the rooms, moved our linens, and sorted our personal items. This is not only rude for a host but also unprofessional and illegal in Hungary. We found it frightening and had to change how we dealt with things. We decided to keep in touch with the woman from then on, so we didn’t file a complaint, but we are considering asking for compensation because we didn’t receive what we expected or what was promised. Equipment: The house is missing a microwave, private pool, jacuzzi, free smoking, hair dryer, toaster, hand sanitizer, air purifier, bathtub, terrace, sauna. The flat‑screen TV doesn’t work in the black bars. Although the accommodation is for 6 people, the table is for 4, or rather 4. There is no frying pan, only pots. There is a dishwasher and tablets, but I don’t know how old it is, and it hasn’t washed properly most of the time. The pictures show a gas grill, but it doesn’t work properly; only 1 of 7 functions. The sun loungers are dirty and rusty. Comfort: We were looking for a private apartment, and it wasn’t enough that there were three units in one place, because Masa also lived in the building. This made it feel very different from having our own apartment. One bed was a sofa, the other was about 2 cushions and terribly uncomfortable. The place is close to nature, but there are no mosquito nets on the windows, so all kinds of insects came in. The accommodation was very spacious; we were six and never felt cramped. The rooms were truly very clean. The host was super friendly and very helpful. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. The kitchen and dining area were very nice, but the kitchen lacked essential cooking utensils (pan, small spoons, bowls, cutlery for at least six people).

What I appreciated most about staying at Villa Lux was the owner’s kindness and availability, always ready to respond quickly and courteously to every message or request, and with a very well‑prepared welcome, so that when we arrived she had even a bottle of wine in the fridge. The apartment itself is truly spacious and refined, tastefully decorated with elegant and essential style, with very well‑distributed spaces: the living room is large and livable, the two bedrooms are bright and each has direct access to the balcony, there are two comfortable bathrooms and a very large living area that makes the environment pleasant and functional. The terrace with a table overlooking the sea was a real surprise, perfect for relaxing or staying in peace, helped by the silence that reigns everywhere. I also found the pool and barbecue area very pleasant, well cared for and welcoming, while the sea view gives a unique atmosphere. The location is good, provided you have a car for travel, and overall the house presents itself as spacious, comfortable and truly nice to live in. However, there are also some aspects that did not fully convince me. The house is missing several kitchen utensils, such as pans and basic accessories, small details that only become noticeable when living there. The rooms are not equivalent, since one has a king‑size bed and the other only a one‑and‑a‑half‑bed: both are comfortable, but it would be important to specify that clearly. Also, areas such as the pool and barbecue, as well as other spaces, are actually common and not private, and the villa is divided into three apartments shared with other families: this is not sufficiently highlighted in the description and can create different expectations, especially for those who imagine having an exclusive villa. Moreover, some features indicated on Booking do not fully match reality. The cleaning could be more thorough, as I found a lot of dust under the beds and on the wardrobes. It would therefore be desirable to improve the description of the accommodation on the platform, clarifying better which services are private and which are common, in order to offer greater transparency to future guests.
