The area in León’s wet district is full of tapas bars and the cathedral behind is stunning, while the old town area is gorgeous. I got a bit lost with the GPS and was sent to a different spot, so I had to ask around, but everything else was perfect.

After eight days in hostels on the Camino de Santiago, this hostel was a revelation! They put us in the Albany, which belongs to the same group as Misericordia. The location is great and it’s modern.

The location is good. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. There’s a restricted vehicle access zone; you must identify your vehicle to avoid surprises if you want to use it. A nearby paid public parking is available without needing identification. The reception was at a different address, three minutes on foot to Plaza de Catedral, and during our visit the area was under construction.
