The location and check‑in were very good, and anyone looking for a genuine WG vibe will feel right at home. The apartment was very noisy, the windows were old, so outside sound seeped in; the shower urgently needs renovation, and even with the door closed, the bathroom stayed wet after showering.

The room had no air conditioning, and the towels seemed unwashed and threadbare; the space was cramped with only one worn pillow, making it hot and stuffy, especially since it was right next to the laundry. Getting there required climbing three flights of stairs.

The location in the old town was great, and the key‑in SMS instructions were clear. However, the room was small and very hot, and we arrived at 22h. The corridor leading to the room housed a washing machine and dryer, which ruined silence and cooling during the heatwave. The accommodation was pricey for what it offered, and cyclists had no way to store bikes inside the building.

The spot is spot‑on – right in the middle of everything – but beyond that the place fell flat. Rooms were cramped, staff seemed indifferent and the amenities were pretty basic. I'd only recommend it for the location.

The hotel sits right in the heart of Salzburg, so you can walk to most sights in minutes, and the little fridge in the room was a nice touch. However, if you’re a light sleeper the noise is a problem; you can hear traffic and the nearby church clearly, especially in summer when you’d like to keep the windows open. Two nights were tolerable, but a longer stay would be too noisy for me.
