The place has potential but it’s in a sorry state: old furnishings, a broken elevator that never got fixed, a gravel entrance that makes you lift your suitcase into the hotel, and a dark lobby. I was given a room with a handicap‑friendly bathroom that lacked a towel dome; the sink and bidet had stagnant water because the drains were clogged, lighting was poor with part of the room in darkness, and there was no small desk for a laptop. The room was suffocating hot, the window wouldn’t close, and I was swarmed by mosquitoes. The restaurant serves good food, but there’s a very annoying machine noise.
