I stayed in a nice room that came with breakfast, and the location was great—several points of interest were within walking distance. The reception staff were very helpful.

The place is in an excellent spot, just a few minutes from the baseball stadium and the metro is only a mile and a half away, making it easy to get around. It’s a very good location. The only downside was the breakfast; if they swapped it out for something with more variety, it would be perfect.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the sheets were fresh. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay, but the breakfast area closed early at 9 am. Outside the hotel we saw many homeless people, which made us feel unsafe walking around, even though there were plenty of security and police officers patrolling. We tried to book a taxi from the hotel to downtown Houston, but it never showed up, so we had to take an Uber instead.
