Unlike other places that force you into tours, this spot offers unique accommodation that’s hard to find in the area. I’m more grateful than disappointed with what the neighborhood offers.

The host was friendly, the room spotless, and the dinner and breakfast were amazing—ideal for a stop on the Jordan Trail. The best part is that it’s actually in Rum village, not in a desert where you’re charged a huge fee to get there.

What a fabulous stay! Ahmed was incredibly kind and shared unforgettable moments with us. We visited the desert, learned about historic sites, surfed dunes, climbed and trekked in nearby canyons, and rode camels—perfect for adventures in the Wadi Rum. Even famous French climbers come here regularly.

I landed right in the heart of Wadi Rum village, the go‑to spot for tourists to book excursions. The host was super helpful, offering plenty of tips. A free cup of tea in the chill winter was a nice touch. The room wasn’t fancy, but it was decent for the price and gave a true local vibe. The hostel’s dinner was pretty good, and there are plenty of other restaurants and markets around the village.
