The location is definitely a highlight: the room sits inside a private garden and you can walk to Pula’s center in no time. Finding a spot on the street is a bit tricky, but with a little patience and a few turns we always managed, even during August’s busy season. Overall the private‑bathroom room is spacious, quiet, and perfect for a nightly retreat after a day at the beach. The host’s dogs bark when you pass the gate, but after a few days they got used to us and it wasn’t a big deal. However, there were a few things that could use improvement. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned thoroughly when we arrived; hair from previous guests was left in the shower. The bed quality was lacking, made of two joined frames and two single mattresses, and the initial linens were ruined. The host acted quickly and replaced them. There’s no real wardrobe, just a simple open structure for hanging clothes. Towels for the bath and for the beach are provided, which is convenient. The location also makes it easy to reach the beautiful Chia beaches. In short, it’s a functional place for a short stay and for people who spend most of their day outside. The price felt a bit high considering the room’s amenities and comfort. The host was always present, friendly, and ready to answer our requests. The last thing that left us puzzled: at the end of our stay we were charged €20 for dish‑cleaning, which in our case was just two cups, two glasses, and a few cutlery pieces. Given how little we had left to wash, we found the charge wildly disproportionate and not in line with the service.
