A good and reasonable hostel with friendly staff. We got several great recommendations in the area and helpful assistance when we needed it. Our room was quite dark, but we were prepared for that based on the photos. The room worked well.

The staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to help you make a successful trip, providing valuable advice for my journey. Some rooms have no windows; if you want a window room, you’d better mention it when you book.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hostel Niniroom. The staff were friendly, the rooms were great, and the beds were comfy, all in a perfect spot just a short walk from awesome restaurants and cafés, and about 20‑25 minutes from Gion and Potoncho Street. The price felt a touch high, but that’s understandable during Japanese Silver Week.

The place was super stylish and cute! Even though the toilet and shower were in a shared area, they were clean and didn’t bother me at all. I liked that there was a women‑only floor. At night, the café space on the first floor was a nice spot to chill a bit. A bit uneasy, though, because the luggage drop‑off before check‑in wasn’t a staff‑only area.

The staff were courteous, and the toast at breakfast was delicious. The women‑only shower, washroom, and toilet on the third floor were all tidy. It was disappointing when the roommate turned off the lights before 23:00 without saying anything.
