The rate was affordable, but it was a hassle to find the keys and the room, and the shared bathroom was also an issue.

This place offers a number of single rooms for rent in Melbourne at very reasonable prices. The accommodation is clean and safe, and the price is very cheap. The décor isn’t modern and feels a bit rough for some, but overall the rooms are clean, the windows are large, and some rooms have balconies. The manageress is friendly and keeps the toilets and bathrooms hygienic.

I got a lock‑box code and was told to pick up a key for the stair door, but when I got there was nothing. I waited about 30 minutes at 10:30 pm, no answer to calls or texts, and a long‑time resident told me all the rooms were full. The owner finally called an hour later, shrugged that someone must have taken the key, and promised a full refund while I was already driving to find a place to sleep. The place feels unsafe and the owner is unresponsive – don't book.
