The location is fantastic with a beach view. The owners are very friendly, the room is perfect and spotless. Even though breakfast isn’t listed, they leave cereals, bread, butter, jams, water and fresh milk in the fridge. I highly recommend it. Plus the family dog Paddy, a golden retriever, will greet you with his puppy‑like enthusiasm.

It was a real little haven; I really liked the quality of the services. The room is modern and nicely decorated, and I also appreciated the small supplementary heater. It was the first day of my trip and it was raining, so I didn’t get much chance to enjoy the magnificent view. I would gladly return.

Everything was spot on. A bedroom with its own bathroom and a seat on the garden terrace, plus ample parking. It sits on a hill by the coast, so the view is stunning and you can hear the waves. Fiona was warm, flexible with arrival times, and available without being intrusive. It’s about a 10‑minute drive to Skibbereen, where there’s a supermarket, and close to a pub where you can eat. The bed is wonderful. Everything you need is there, from different blankets to keep you warm, to a quiet stocked fridge to help with your own breakfast. They include dishes and cutlery, a TV with Netflix, and a charming golden retriever. For one person it’s a bit pricey because there’s no single‑person rate and there’s no breakfast.
