Yakut Hotel

“Очень хорошо мы отдохнули, никто нас не обидел, хотелось бы номер побольше но такой бы и стоил дороже , мы это сами пони”

I liked that it was clean. They came and cleaned our room every day, and we were satisfied. I didn’t like that they gave us a similar room but not the same as the photo. The difference is definitely there; the photo shows a newer, larger room, while ours was on the top floor and different, even that the floor had tiles. I also didn’t like that if you forget the key in the door you can’t get back in later. The hotel has very good, responsive staff who never sleep and always help! I also didn’t like the shop next to the property; they have scammers working there, just so you know.

The hotel’s location is convenient, 10 minutes to T1 and 5 minutes to the promenade. Near the hotel is a market, an alcohol shop, and a laundromat. The staff are friendly, and the cleaner tried to tidy up every day, but since she was alone, she didn’t always manage. The breakfasts at the on‑site restaurant were tasty. The rooms were in horrible condition, everything was crooked, the shower water was sometimes cold, sometimes hot, and the showers were filthy. The hotel windows looked out onto dirty roofs on one side, a noisy road and a burnt building on the other. The Booking photos did not match reality. We were assigned a room that wasn’t in the photo (a room with a wooden ceiling and balcony). The entrance smelled like cat urine and swamp. We asked to be moved to another room, they gave a better one like the photo, but the air conditioning didn’t work (we asked for a technician, they ignored us). Sometimes there were cockroaches. I do not recommend this hotel.

“Nice stay for this price!”

The place is in a fantastic spot, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was amazing; everything else was just fine.

The location was acceptable, but I would not recommend the hotel because it smelled like cat urine throughout the rooms, making it impossible to sleep. I tried to complain but the staff didn't refund me and only swapped my room, which still had the odor. The hallway had no doors and the carpet was filthy; the cats seemed to roam freely there. Even after cleaning, the smell persisted and we spent time outside because the rooms were unusable. Other Romanian guests were also moved to different hotels. In the first room, there was no hot water so we couldn't shower, and in the second room, water leaked from the ceiling into the bathroom and the AC didn't work. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I expected something different! The photos looked great, but the reality was far from it, leaving us in shock.
