“A quiet place”
Spacious and quiet. The bathroom was fine, but the bidet is missing (a common issue throughout Portugal).

The spot is super convenient, though being in the town means no views and the outdoor area is cramped. Breakfast was plentiful and often covered lunch too. The seating area only fit 3 or 4 of the 8 possible occupants. We noticed an unpleasant odor in our bathroom, which had no window, and the source was unclear. We didn’t meet the owners during our 4 nights.

The location is great, within walking distance of the port and airport. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the free Wi‑Fi works well. The room felt damp, and when I cranked up the AC because it was cold, the humidity was noticeable. We had an issue with ants in the room and had to be careful not to leave any food out; we reported it to staff, who probably will fix it, but it was a bit uncomfortable for us.

The location is excellent! Sofia is fantastic! The space is super welcoming. Only when leaving.

The welcome included a basket full of goodies and some first‑time groceries in the fridge, which was very appreciated. The staff were kind. A few bad smells came from under the kitchen sink, but airing it out made it tolerable.
