The room was spacious and the bathroom was large and comfortable. The towels felt a bit old.

The bed was wonderfully fluffy and the room felt spacious and comfortable, but when we traveled as a couple there was only one key, so my husband had to call me and meet me at the entrance.

The bed was amazing—probably the best I’ve slept on in a hotel or Airbnb in Japan—and everything was spotless. Breakfast was fantastic. I wish someone had mentioned that tattoos aren’t allowed in the bath; I always check for that detail (aside from a quick phone call), and it’s missing from the booking site, the home website, and other travel sites, so I’m pointing it out here: tattoos are not allowed.

I didn’t appreciate that the bath had to be shared between men and women, and the women’s schedule didn’t fit my needs, so I never got to use it. That was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.
