The beds were very comfortable, and even though the building was under construction, the staff were great.

The breakfast was minimal. We would have liked gravy with the biscuits. The room was clean and comfortable

The staff were very professional and polite, and I like the location of this hotel. I don’t like that every time I stay here this year the swimming pool and hot tub are closed, and renovations have been going on for years.

Was thinking to stay there as its near to Broken bow. This hotel appears to be good in the photos but when we entered our room, we realized that it is an old property which was cheaply renovated. Paying $289 for 2 days appears to be too much for this. We immediately sprinted back to the lobby, told the receptionist that we did not like the room and would like to cancel the booking. She agreed on full refund and told us that it would take some time in getting the refunds. We then travelled to Texarnama which is just one hour away from this city and stayed in Hilton hotels for the same date and paid the same amount. At least we felt like it was worth the amount there. Now when I called , they are saying that they have not got any message from the property. I have tried reaching out to the property through Booking .com but no one is replying back to my messages. Till now not a single dollar is refunded. It appears like its better to book directly at the reception than doing a reservation , at least then we know what we are getting
