Air-conditioned rooms offer a flat-screen cable TV, work desk, and en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms boast views of the Portland skyline or Mt. Hood. The hotel is within walking distance to the Oregon Convention Center and Lloyd Center Mall, with room service and a 24-hour business centre available.

The location was central to my activities, the onsite self‑parking garage was very convenient, the room was comfortable and spotless, there were several good dining options at the hotel, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was fine.

We had to scramble for a backup after the Vrbo we booked turned out to be awful, and this place was a solid pick. Spotless, cozy, and the view was gorgeous. The parking costs a bit.

The staff were all wonderful. I think my expectations were just too high. The room’s amenities were minimal—no room service, a tiny coffee maker that felt almost absent. I’m not sure if the other rooms are similar, but the furniture, beds, chairs, and desks looked worn and could use an upgrade. The restaurant shut down in the evenings. Parking was steep, and for the price we paid, it should have been included in the room rate. I expected more value and amenities from a DoubleTree, especially since I've stayed at DoubleTrees elsewhere. I’m mildly disappointed with our experience at Portland DoubleTree.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel that displays your name on the TV when you arrive. The bed was comfy and everything was just perfect. They keep the room really cold, no matter what I adjusted it to—it stayed chilly.
