The staff was helpful and the Dalkhichada dish was tasty, but the area just outside my room was dirty and wasn’t cleaned until the next morning after I pointed out the littered food. The bathroom stool was moldy.

The environment felt like home, the host was pleasant, and the food tasted like home but every item was expensive. The bathrooms lacked enough toiletries, and a hand‑wash dispenser should have been installed.

The only thing that was big was the room. The manager didn’t care about guests, especially the bathroom was horrible; it was so high in the room that we had to bend sharply to enter or exit, otherwise you’d hit your head. The staircase to the bathroom was three times the normal height, apparently designed to torture guests. We seek comfort in hotels, but this was the opposite. Manager Bahadur Singh was constantly on his phone, loudly, and never noticed me when I kept coming by. He was rarely on his seat, and the room‑service number didn’t work. The price was at least three times what it should be. It was far from Nakki Lake, in an isolated spot where we couldn’t walk there at night from the center, and it was about 3 km away, not 1.5 km as claimed.

Although our room was clean and well-prepared upon check-in, our experience was marred by several issues. The receptionist, Mr. Bahadur Singh, seemed more interested in earning commissions than providing good service. He even took a hefty commission from a cab owner, which was quite unprofessional. Additionally, the food prices were exorbitant, and the hotel's policy of providing warm water only between 7 am and 10 am was quite restrictive and inconvenient.
