Michele responded quickly as a host. The B&B’s location near the railway station was a key reason we chose it, and he gave clear directions to find and enter the place. The décor seemed recent and well done. The room was pretty and had everything we expected. We arrived around New Year’s and were mostly the only guests. We appreciated the small kitchen and used the cooker, fridge, and coffee machine. Breakfast was offered at a nearby café, which is a nice idea but only works if the café is actually open. Our room faced a noisy road; with the windows closed it felt stuffy and loud, and with them open it was even louder. There is an AC unit, so maybe that could help— we’re not big fans, so we didn’t try it. The mattress was too soft for our taste. When other guests brewed coffee in the morning, the machine was very loud. We chose this place because it was the most affordable in Salerno and easy to access, but I’m not sure I’d pick it again. The road itself isn’t the B&B’s fault.
