The location is good, the hosts are very friendly, breakfast is sufficient, the bed is comfortable, there are many pubs and bars nearby as well as travel agencies, I was allowed to leave my luggage in the hotel on the day of departure, and I felt very welcome. However, my room only had a window facing the hallway, making it very dark, and on weekends the music from nearby bars reverberates through the whole building.

The host, Ximena, is incredible – attentive, warm, and welcoming, going the extra mile to ensure comfort. I felt at home away from home, and it was hard to leave. During my week-long stay I felt comfortable and safe. The room was lovely and cleaned daily. I’ll 100% book here again when I return to Quito and fully recommend it, especially to solo travelers.
