The staff are generally good people, but the furniture is in poor condition, especially the mattress; I could feel every single coil digging into my back, which made it really uncomfortable to sleep. If you have a large suitcase, make sure it has a lock, because the lockers are tiny and can barely fit a few belongings, and most of them have broken locks anyway. There is only one shower for around 12 people, which is clearly not enough, and smoking is also allowed indoors, which makes the environment even less pleasant. The worst part, however, is the people staying there; many of them gave me a bad impression, and I wouldn't recommend going there expecting to meet fellow travellers, make friends, and explore the city together. Don't romanticize the idea of a social hostel where you connect with interesting people from around the world. Based on my experience, I'd actually recommend keeping your distance and being careful about how much you interact with the people staying there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hostel unless you have very low expectations and just need somewhere to sleep.
