The weather was good, and it was nice to see some dogs staying there too. Nothing else stood out; the place was quiet when I was there, which I loved.

Arriving here felt like a dream; we booked last minute for a family visit, and the team was very accommodating and welcoming. Our cabin exceeded all expectations with beautiful attention to detail, and I’m really looking forward to returning.

The cabin felt just right for a winter escape, with a heat pump keeping it warm, a bed that was among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, plenty of pillows, a warm duvet, a fold‑away table and chairs for breakfast, an outside table and chairs, a fridge with freezer space, and a microwave that proved handy for quick meals; there was no on‑site café, but in winter you can drive to nearby shops or cafés for supplies, and a short walk takes you to the beach. The downside was that Podlife 1 sits very close to the main road, with only a thin hedge as a buffer, which is more noticeable on weekdays than weekends.
