The staff were hospitable, the breakfast was very good, and the location was close to everything yet quiet; the hotel faces the sea but there is no beach right there, you have to walk a few minutes to either side, the construction work was ongoing and they didn’t notify us beforehand, the noise woke us at 8 am, on the second day they offered a room change but it was a hassle and they postponed the work, yet we still heard the neighbor’s construction, the room was spacious but the TV was broken, we asked for fresh sheets which smelled damp, the wardrobe was not fully clean, there was no bath mat so everything got wet, and there was no towel rack to hang towels to dry.

The breakfast was excellent, though the room didn’t match the photos; in the end it wasn’t a problem for us.

The location was good, and the lodge staff were very welcoming and polite; I liked the simple breakfast which suited my taste, but the room seemed smaller than in the photos, the bed was old and low, I read a comment about a bad smell in the bathroom that turned out to be true—probably due to old plumbing—, the bathroom door didn’t close, and there was no outlet next to the bed, which was inconvenient since my husband works on his phone.
