The property is beautiful, with trees, vegetation, walkways, and a pool; the rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. When we returned around 11 p.m. one night, nobody was on the premises, the hot water was off, and we didn’t know how to restart the heater. It’s a bit out of town, but we were aware of that. The pet fee was high—$500 pesos for my tiny laptop dog, which felt excessive; normally other hotels in the area just charge a refundable deposit.

The peaceful ambiance of the place was a major highlight, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by a few issues. The hot water in the hot tub wasn't sufficient, which meant we couldn't use it. This was a bit of a letdown, but the serene atmosphere made up for it to some extent.
