The lady was very kind and helpful, the room was small but new and clean, as were the bathroom and toilet. The bathroom wasn’t private as described; it was shared (!) among three rooms. It’s quite far from the center, but you can get there without trouble by bus.

Staying at Sayakatchy Hostel exceeded all expectations! The city is only 3 km away, yet the hostel itself is in an amazingly quiet and picturesque spot. Special thanks to the host Cholpon Eje—she not only welcomed us warmly but also accompanied us on all our trips, suggested the best mountain routes, helped with food orders, and was always there if we needed assistance. The hostel is clean and cozy: fresh linens, soft towels, everything thoughtfully arranged. We planned to stay just two days but ended up staying six—so comfortable it felt like home. Thank you for the warm reception and atmosphere! Nothing else to add. 🥰
