The location was ideal because our son lives in Tavistock and we could visit him daily; the room was lovely and comfortable, the TV reception was a bit temperamental but otherwise everything was fine. The internet was not great, so we couldn’t get good reception on the TV or our phones, but that’s the fault of the internet provider, not the hotel.

Great little place – exactly what we needed! Spotlessly clean, lovely, with a nice bathroom and kitchenette. Handy extras such as fridge, WiFi, TV, hair dryer, room fan, USB plugs, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and water. Check‑in was easy with a lockbox, and they even left a torch for us. Don’t forget the charming little garden. Very satisfied, would 100 % recommend.

I could sit outside comfortably, the bathroom was nice, and everything was very clean and tidy.

The place was spotless and well kept, with parking on the property and a quiet spot. The host was helpful, and the fridge had tea, coffee, and fresh milk. There was a nice outdoor area with seating.

The studio was immaculate, comfortable, and suited my needs perfectly; I used it only to sleep while staying in the village with my aunt. However, the studio feels like a converted garage with no windows, just a frosted entrance door, so natural light was minimal.
