The hot tub was a highlight. However, the fridge froze everything, and the windows and doors were hard to open and close.

We liked being out in the countryside, coming from busy cities. Lovely location and great nature walks. The house wasn't very clean, the pillows were of very poor quality. The cutlery and plates were dirty and the oven was smelly. Unfortunately the house didn't provide any salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, oil, etc. so that was a little bit annoying because we only stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to buy too many things

We had stayed at this lodge before and liked its location; the main areas and the two twin bedrooms were spacious. We mentioned during our last visit that more door hooks would be useful, and indeed there were more this time. The outdoor furniture was dirty, especially the table. The bedding was worn and the pillows were awful. The dining table was set, but everything needed washing before use because it was dusty. The double bed was uncomfortable and a bit cramped in the room.

We enjoyed the hot tub and the lodge’s higher position, which is higher than what we usually get. We’d like to know how to book the same lodge each time, since you don’t know which lodge you’ll receive before arrival. The pillows were terrible—lumpy and flat, looking fine at first glance but lacking substance when you try to sleep on them. The bedding could use an update.
