“Beau paysage mais on a mal dormi”
The view is incredible. The heating was like a toaster—hard to set the temperature, either too hot or too cold. I also didn’t like that we had to sleep on a sofa bed with a 3‑month‑old baby.

The location is great, with hiking trails right at the base of the residence. The apartment wasn’t clean.

Very quiet, typical old village, mountain view, pleasant pool.

The residence was very quiet. The short stay had promised linens and bath towels, so we had to call the emergency number because there was no reception on Sunday. Empty beer bottles, glasses used as ashtrays, and an unclean balcony table. The bathroom tiles were all black, spider webs on the ceiling, the bathroom vent was dusty, the sofa cushions were heavily stained, and the kettle was leaking. The apartment needed a full renovation, which is not worth the price or the expected service.

I loved staying at Birdie; a small mix‑up at check‑in and a dishware issue quickly faded once we enjoyed the view, the quiet, the charm of the village, the pool, and the beautiful surroundings. We’ll definitely return next year. The only downside was the hedge on the terrace—just a minor annoyance.
