It was outside of Dothan and I was traveling to Florida. So location was key. The refrigerator was unplugged, so I didn't know if it worked. There was no breakfast in the morning. Only on weekends. It didn't specify that on the booking page. Also, the GPS took me past the golf club down the street that runs beside it. It was late,dark and rainy and very few lights down that road. Maybe change the GPS to put you into the parking lot

The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean. I really enjoyed seeing all the antique items in the lobby. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes from the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds. We felt we got what we paid for and would definitely stay again. The property was older and more outdated than a traditional hotel, and the breakfast options were limited to coffee, pastries, and donuts. However, we knew what to expect going in, so these things didn't take away from our overall experience
