I was disappointed: the TV didn’t work, the kettle was missing, key cards were absent, and they used metal keys like old times—lose one and you get a 1000‑yen fine. Breakfast was decent but only up to four‑star standards.

At the reception a bad odor greeted us, and one of the two rooms we booked—supposedly with AC—had a broken unit, so we had to swap rooms at 2 am.
