A typical and convenient spot for a group.

Authentic lodging right in the Nubian village, and the linens were clean. The road access by car was very bad because the roads were unpaved, and nighttime navigation was very difficult. Wild packs of dogs roamed the area and seemed quite dangerous. The accommodation level was the worst we have experienced in Egypt.

Communication issues probably caused us to miss breakfast the next day; we thought dinner was free but were charged 900 Egyptian pounds when we left. From now on, we’ll have to ask more questions about any potential fees.
