A short bus ride brought us into town, and the owner was incredibly kind, offering plenty of tips for starting a business; the apartment was clean and comfortable, and I ended up cooking a lot. The only downside was the absence of a dish rack.

My partner and I spent seven days at Bordine Guesthouse and really enjoyed it. The room was as described—relatively small—but the various storage options for suitcases and clothes solved any space concerns. The kitchen had everything needed and a cozy spot to sit. The bathroom was very modern, with plenty of towels, and the room was spotless upon arrival. The area is very quiet, and a canal for pleasant walks is just a short walk away, with several small parks nearby. Shopping options and the city center are also within a quick reach, and parking by car is inexpensive compared to Germany. Andrew was a pleasure to contact; we had mentioned arriving a bit earlier, which was no problem. We were warmly welcomed at arrival and Andrew gave us some great day‑trip suggestions right away. He remained easily reachable during the week if any questions arose, without being intrusive. We really enjoyed chatting with him. “Gewoon helemaal dikke prima! Top!”

Great location, very friendly and welcoming owner, very quiet, fairly close to the center, good facilities, excellent hygiene, supermarket nearby. No complaints.
