The staff were very friendly and the location was wonderful. Prices were affordable, the water pressure was good, and it felt like a family atmosphere. The room could use more regular cleaning, a pictorial menu would help, and transport availability should always be ensured.

The staff were great—cheerful and super helpful even with the language barrier. The furniture and fixtures seemed to be falling apart, and the shower head actually did.

The room was comfy and the location is central, close to the airport. Travelers should know before arriving that the whole Bario area has no air conditioners and no restaurants or malls; keeping that in mind will avoid disappointment.

The food was freshly cooked, tasty, and halal guaranteed. The location is near the market and shops. The staff are friendly and the owner is around to greet guests. The living hall is cozy, bright, and gives a relaxed, pleasant feel.

The staff were excellent; even though neither side spoke each other's language fluently, Wahda and Pian did everything they could to help—cheerfully. It was a bonus that the lodge owner, Jade, was always reachable for support, not just during the trip but in the weeks leading up to our stay in Bario, acting as a transport guide and a Bario guide 🥰. Personal preference: the mattress and pillow are a bit firm 😬.
