Thought Blooming

I’m back again for Udawalawe and always choose this little cabin because it’s consistently very pleasant. It’s a family‑run place where everyone is friendly and helpful. They recently upgraded the internet, which is now fast and reliable. The rooms stay clean and comfortable, with new air‑con and shower, all functioning well. Breakfast is simple, and the local home‑cooked meals in the evening are tasty. Everything is great and very convenient, though the cabin’s wooden floor can make it a bit noisy when both rooms are occupied.

“Hébergement très agréable”

The welcome included a fruit‑juice tasting. The family is adorable and generous. The room and bathroom are spacious. The meals on the small private terrace were excellent, and breakfast was good. The location is perfect for the Uda Walawe safari.

The hosts were very friendly, communication was good, the place is nicely located and lovingly decorated, with a terrace and a generous room—great value for the price. Basically nothing significant to complain about. The house is lovely, the lower room is very basic but acceptable, and the toilet flush didn’t work.

The garden is gorgeous, the terrace is lovely, and the national park is easily reachable. We ate at the accommodation because there’s no nearby dining. However, a room behind us was also rented, and the house was very noisy.

“Perfekt”

Delightful hosts! They were very dedicated, friendly, and helpful. I had great conversations with the family’s son and enjoyed excellent food. The place was very clean and offered a top price‑performance ratio. The room, priced at $18, felt more like a $50 room. Thank you! Everything was top.
