“Enttäuschender Wellnessurlaub – mehr Schein als Sein. Das Essen war gut, aber die Zimmer sind stark in die Jahre gekomme”
The food was good, but the facilities, wellness area, and beds were lacking.

The hotel is very quiet and you can walk or take the local bus to the thermal baths. Inside there’s a pool and various wellness options. I only booked a stay with breakfast, yet I was assigned a room in the side wing. A spot in the main hall was still available, but it kept shifting from one place to another.

The team is great and very friendly. Elke at the reception, the manager himself, and the whole crew go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. The food is plentiful and tasty, and everything feels very family‑oriented. The massage is highly recommended, and we met many regular guests. The only downside was that our room had an old‑fashioned carpet.

The staff were friendly and the location was good. Both pools were tidy. The breakfast buffet was made from the cheapest supermarket items, the pot coffee was subpar, and you had to pay 2.-- for a coffee‑cream from the machine. The fruit was canned and there was no variation over the four days. Overall the building was clean but dated. The shower was narrow, the toilet had no sprayer and 10 litres of water ran continuously. Parking for non‑direct bookers costs 5.-- € per day and you only learn about it when paying the tourist tax; alternative spots aren’t offered. The hotel isn’t recommended despite the friendly staff. The bike storage costs a fee. The lift is a nightmare – with extra luggage it’s almost impossible to get in or out. Like many 70s‑era hotels in Füssing, it’s cheaply built, brightly lit, and poorly insulated. Cheap carpets and, in our case, double doors at the room entrance – room 315. There’s no fridge in the room, only a fee for medication storage.

The owner was especially friendly. The food was a bit plain – pre‑made salad, and the coffee machine only made cappuccino if you paid.
