If you decide to stay here, rent a car; it’s much easier to reach the city and the airport than by bus. Breakfast was exceptional and filling, the staff were very friendly, and the dogs were adorable. From the room window I could see exactly what I expected – it felt like a real vacation. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. I would appreciate a thicker curtain; the current one is half‑transparent, so it can be bright in the morning and other guests walking in the garden can see me, which reduces privacy a bit.

The photos don’t do justice to the view! The location is great, close to Butchart Gardens, Victoria Airport, Sidney, and the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Breakfast was tasty and the hosts were kind. I enjoyed chatting with Jill and playing with her dogs, Abby and Luna, and I’ll definitely return.

Schöne Unterkunft ca. 1 Std von Victoria entfernt und perfekte Lage zur Ferry für Weiterfahrt nach Vancouver. Man sitzt in der Frühstücksecke im kanadischen privaten Wohnzimmer mit tollem Ausblick - wie zu Besuch bei kanadischer Oma Jill, die äußerst freundlich ist. Selbst Frühstück togo bei früher Abreise wurde bereit gestellt. Wir hatten Zimmer in Parterre, besser direkt nach einem Zimmer fragen in oberen Etagen, da heller und besserer Ausblick. Gab nichts

“Would love to stay again and hopefully see the place return to its full potential”

Very charming and the atmosphere was lovely. Breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the common room where we could hang out with our group. The place seemed understaffed and short on maintenance, and there was a mildew smell that I would warn anyone with breathing issues to be aware of.

Quiet and friendly, with fantastic views and communal spaces. The only downside was the missing handrail in the bathroom over the bath.
