“Sejur plăcut”
The place has a real rustic charm and everything worked fine – I didn’t run into any issues at all. It felt like stepping back a bit in time, which was a nice change of pace.

A quiet, pleasant spot that felt like a little retreat, and the hostess was incredibly warm and quick to respond to anything we needed. It was exactly the kind of calm stay we were hoping for.

The mattress was the only thing that felt comfortable; the bathroom was cramped and not user‑friendly. Outside, the sunny table and chairs were dusty, and a swarm of bugs forced us back into the tiny room. To make matters worse, the shared kitchen and dining area were constantly taken over by a noisy group of guests, so we couldn’t use them when we wanted.

This turned out to be our unexpected second visit to Kalofer, and we instantly knew we’d be back. The owner was friendly and helpful, and even though we didn’t speak English, the voice‑to‑text translation app made communication easy – something you don’t often see in the countryside. All in all, solid value for the price and we’d gladly return.

Being charged per person each day just to use the kitchen felt like a rip‑off, especially after the listing showed a photo that made it look included. On top of that, the walls were paper‑thin – you could hear everything, even the noises from the toilets, which was really irritating. For the price, the experience was far from worth it.
